Jessica Park
Jessica grew up in the Boston area and attended Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. After spending four years in the frigid north, including suffering through one memorable Halloween blizzard, she hightailed it back to the east coast and spent the rest of her twenties in her adored Boston. She now lives in (relatively balmy) New Hampshire with her husband, son, a wild lab mix dog, a super mischievous Snowshoe cat, and a formerly feral (and complicated!) cat. All are weirdos, but she loves them to pieces. When not writing, Jessica indulges her love of baking, bird watching, and attempting (and often failing) to grow things in her garden.

I never meant to become an influencer. Ugh, that word even makes me grimace. It started with a few restaurant reviews for cute local spots, then suddenly it snowballed into a career. Now I'm recognized nearly any time that I stop for even a quick bite. My long red hair doesn’t exactly make me inconspicuous, but I love my Boston restaurants, and so I’ve learned to roll with the attention. While I might have millions of followers, I can count the number of true friends I have on one hand. If even that. Most of my connections feel more like business deals. Sponsors often ask to send me on luxury trips, but I usually refuse, as it feels crazy unjustified and humbling. And strangely lonely. Until I accept a trip to Puerto Rico. And until I meet Dave while there in paradise. Both are all kinds of perfection, both temporary in my life, but I’ll gladly take them for the time being. Vacation hangovers are never fun, but the trifecta of traumas that I return home to weren’t on my Bingo card, nor are they things I know how to handle.
